Pandemic Stipend for CPS Qualifying Employees
On Thursday, April 29, 2021, the Chickasha Public Schools Board of Education approved a recommendation from Superintendent Rick Croslin, to provide a pandemic stipend to all qualifying CPS employees. Stipends were approved for $1,500 and $750, depending on the hire-date for each individual employee, and are dependent upon the completion of a COVID-19 professional development. Both certified and support employees qualify for these stipends, which are funded through one-time federal funds. Superintendent Croslin stated: “The past 15 months have been nothing short of challenging, hectic, and tough. Because of you, CPS has been in session all school year long, served students through multiple platforms, pulled together to overcome barriers, and have worked tirelessly to meet the needs of our students and community. You have re-envisioned how to make events, games, and more happen for our students, instead of cancelling. For this, we say, “THANK YOU!”. Because of your dedication and commitment to this school year we wanted to express a small token of gratitude to everyone. Words cannot express how much we are grateful that you are part of the CPS family.” We are so proud to be a part of the Fightin’ Chick Family!
