CHS Students Attend Black Male Summit
Launch the media gallery 1 playerMr. Milton Bowens, Mrs. Cristie Oliver, and Mr. Eric Golightly accompanied a group of young men from CHS to the UCO Black Male Summit. The Black Male Summit offers high school and college students who are committed to personal, academic, and professional development an opportunity to connect, get inspired, and grow. During the conference, students engaged in unique, creative, and interactive presentations that spoke to the Black male experience facilitated by decorated military leaders and professionals. Topics ranged from higher education, mental and physical health, civic engagement, financial literacy, and advocacy.
