FIRST Robotic Oklahoma Regional Competition 2022
CHS Robotics made it to the quarterfinals in the FIRST Forward RAPID REACT Competition last week. According to Coach Brandon Willis, the team is mostly new to the competition experience due to COVID cancellations the past few years. However, they performed well as a team. They worked out a few bugs and gained experience for future competitions, specifically Tulsa next month. The team earned the award of INNOVATION CONTROL for Machine, Creativity, and Innovation. Junior, Trenten Rippy, received the Dean's List Finalist Award. Only two students are selected for this award at each regional competition. This award acknowledges the recipient's leadership to their team and raising awareness in the community of FIRST(For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) and its mission. These two awardees have also achieved personal technical expertise and accomplishment. Congratulations to CHS Team 3931 - Cockadoodle Dominators, Brandon Willis, and Trenten Rippy. We see great success ahead!
