CPS Hires Assistant Principal at Lincoln Elementary
Chickasha Public Schools named a Lincoln Assistant Principal today. Life long Fightin' Chick, Jennifer Phillips, was introduced as part of the Lincoln Lion administration. Mrs. Phillips graduated from Chickasha High School and is a proud supporter of the "Purple and Gold." She received her Bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State in Human Development and Family Science with a focus in Early Childhood Education. She continued her education earning her Master's degree in Educational Leadership from East Central University. Mrs. Phillips began her tenure in Chickasha Schools eighteen years ago and has never worked in any other District. She has served as a Kindergarten teacher at Bill Wallace Early Childhood Center along with First grade there. She then moved to Grand Avenue Elementary where she taught third and fourth grades.
When asked what she appreciates about Chickasha Public Schools, Mrs. Phillips promptly responded, "I appreciate that CPS is built on pride and tradition. Chickasha Public School believes in the partnership between our district and our community, and is committed to making Chickasha the best place for our students to thrive. I'm proud to be a product of Chickasha Public School, I'm proud that my children are Fightin' Chicks, and I am always proud to represent the Purple and Gold! I am looking forward to working alongside the new Lincoln Principal, Mrs. Morgan, and the Lincoln staff to help our students grow as individuals and reach their goals. We have big plans and ideas for Lincoln Elementary moving forward and I can't wait to see our bright future unfold. I am excited to build relationships with our students, families, and the Chickasha community and to continue the Lincoln Lion legacy!"
Mrs. Phillips and her husband, Patrick have been married for thirteen years. They have two sons, Rhyder and Weston. Rhyder will be a sixth grader at Lincoln Elementary and Weston will be a first grader at Bill Wallace Early Childhood Center. When not at school, Mrs. Phillips can be found with her nose in a book, cooking a yummy meal, or cheering on Weston and the Chickasha Cardinals baseball team or Rhyder and the 018 Hoops basketball team!
We could not be more excited for the upcoming year! Congratulations, Jennifer Phillips, on your new role as Assistant Principal in Chickasha Public Schools!
